BEST of the BETS

No strong fancies for me this afternoon, only a very speculative bet in the nursery at Ayr (2:30)

Keith Dalgleish won this with a 33/1 shot in 2014, and he had the runner up at 33/1 in 2015. He is responsible for 3 of the 11 runners today, and Woodside Wonder (25/1) is the outsider of 3. Woodside Wonder had some good form earlier in the season, has been well beaten last two starts, York run is easily excused as that was a very hot race, the run at Hamilton (where he had won before) in a similar race to this is less easy to explain where he finished 8 lengths behind Lightning Attack (the favourite today). For that reason, I am not confident about this but had a very small bet on it hoping he will return to form.
