Hard to believe this horse was flat bred by the size of him, making him a stand out in this field. Although beaten 9l by the winner, he showed an abundant amount of ability. Stayed on takingly after the front two got away as he sat mid pack. Jockey also switched him in and out a couple of times which would not have benefitted the big stride. Must go close in another bumper if going that route but would be of great interest to see him over an obstacle.
Thanks all for the kind words - the missus had a 5 and half hour operation last night as
she had a perforated bowel she will now have a stoma bag she's on the road to recovery
but it's gonna take a while we are hoping she'll be home for xmas but it's not certain
I am hopeful of returning to the forum toward the end of the coming week i've got many
things to do before i will be in a position to do so tho
