Lord glitters won but the greatcollection 4th didn't finish the race off. Think that needs to drop in trip. A furlong. Winner won well .

Think 2 I'd be interested in today are lord glitters 2.20 that's if tudhope gives it a positive ride. The other is the greatcollection 2.55 this is running a lot better this year. I think the punishment is fair and thankfully his staff will remain employed.

I would like to think he is sincere in his statement after the hearing and he has learned a valuable lesson from this.

This may have set us back re the horse welfare subject but I have every confidence that this is a isolated incident with him.

What we must consider now is Gordon's well-being mentally because this must have placed a huge strain and pressure on him with all the publicly be it in the press, television and social media.

I do believe he will learn from it and indeed be a better man/trainer for it in the long run.

I dont think GE is an abuser of horses, and as to what he gets up to in his private life thats his business and should not affect racing. The story behind the photo may never be verified, and thats for GE to sort out.

I think theres a lot of stuff that happens in he world of emergency services which if made public would cause outrage. However these people are doing extremely difficult and harrowing jobs and providing they keep things private I think whatever way they find to cope with the stresses is acceptable. I'm not saying that GE's photo is acceptable but these people have to deal with death of horses on a regular basis and as such have to find ways of normalising it so they can keep going.

I think the ban is reasonable, not excessive, and a lesson has been learned for everyone in the industry.

What a season the Hammers are having currently in the Champions League places and not by luck. won 3 of their last 6 only narrowly losing to both Manchester clubs in the cup and League.
To be honest it's one team I haven't followed much in the Premiership as I always thought they would of dropped out the top 4 and possible top 10 but they are proving me wrong big time.
Beat us 2-1 at our place and probably deserved it. both goals from set pieces with headers.
Something we have to watch as these are really strong on set pieces I think the best in the League.

I don't know why but I fancy us to win on Monday don't ask me why I had the same feeling at Villa earlier in the season. I think they will come out thinking they are better than us with a swagger and we will quietly put them to bed.
Injury news seems to be getting better Rodrigo - Bera - Poveda all got 45mins in todays 2-0 win at Wolves in a u23 game. Rodrigo netting both.
Expecting Rodrigo to get a place on the bench at West Ham. Phillips didn't start but I'm expecting him to play He's match fit he doesn't need u23 games. I think if training goes well this week he will start.
Koch & Shacks are back training even Forshaw is back in the group.
So things are looking up.

Spring in our steps!
The brighter starts to the day, warmer weather, lighter evenings and glorious sunshine can only mean one thing - Spring is finally here!

This seems to be bringing an improvement to the ground which bodes well for our 6-time chase winner WAIKIKI WAVES who has been patiently waiting for better ground. He races at Taunton tomorrow (04/03.) He has been in great form at home & he tends to go well fresh - we can't wait to see him back racing!

Another HOTSR horse who is in flying form of late is 3-time hurdle winner RUBY YEATS (above) who ran with such credit in a competitive Class 3 hurdle race at Ascot recently. Her main target looks to be Plumpton on 15/03 which is the race she won in emphatic style in 2020! Some rain would be welcome for Ruby.

Both of these horses have won for their Owners already this season which was a much needed lift given what we have all been going through in the past 12 months & it really meant the world the world to them. Hopefully they can do it again before the end of the NH season!

It is irrelevant who or indeed why someone posted the "photo".

The issue is the "photo" and the portray of this image.

This image has caused outrage, disgust, disappointment and sadness throughout the racing industry.

No one wants any of Gordon's staff to lose their jobs but sad to say it seems this may happen and I for one despite my disgust in the image would be sad to see this happen.

Last win came over 7f off a mark of 53 [47 today]. Hasn't won at a mile, but ran a decent enough race to be third on penultimate start over the distance. The likely favourite has to overcome a penalty, and the rest appear to offer very little on recent form. Generally available at 11/2.

These have been good the last couple of days but they are not doing to good today (only one winner so far out of six races).

Tella blatantly looks for a pen off Llorente. He does his job at first conning the Ref into giving the pen. The Pen is overruled by Var because of no contact.
all they see is a cheat who has tried to::
con officials, con Leeds United Football Club, Con a Professional footballer in Llorente.
Still unconvinced by Var but this time it saw sense.
As if it wasn't there Tella would of conned all concerned, possibly changing the end result too. which could of effected so many teams at the end of a season.
What does Tella get for the offence absolute nothing. no card or a warning or possible discipline after the game .
Walks away free as bird to try again in another match to con someone else.

Then to this one. which I understand in why its given. but, Christ where is the comparison.

Raphinha gets yellowed carded for taking off his shirt to send his love to someone who is having a bad time and Ill. Yet Tella who has dived and cheated in which could effetely change a result possibly even ending someone's time in the Premiership by 1 point or 3 at the end of the season.

Southampton started really well but are in the middle of a bad patch. One win from 5 which was in the FA Cup against Wolves who had key men out.
murdered 9-0 at Scum and even Newcastle took 3 pts off them with 10 men.
buts lets not think this is going to be easy. On Paper Southampton are a team we shouldn't like playing they like to pass the ball around with a very high press, have quality upfront and on the channels.
They don't leave much space and are very compact They also have a worldy Dead Ball specialist in Ward Prowse.
This will for sure be as tough as any other game but it's still a game we have to look for 3pts in.
