BEST of the BETS

Only a small bet on MAKING HISTORY (8/1), who had looked impressive when winning over straight 7 at Leicester. Has been disappointing in 3 runs since then but there were possible excuses, next race might have come too soon and last two races look better quality than this so maybe too early to write him off. For a class 3 this looks a weak race, as most of these have been finding it hard to win already. Leicester winners usually do well on the straight course here so that’s a positive. But it is heavy going and he has a big weight to carry so we have to be careful, still at 8/1 I feel he is worth a small bet.
