BEST of the BETS

A few I fancy today, have backed them in very small stakes multiple.

2:20 Listowel - ARAMON (1/1) was very impressive winner on debut and should have more to come.

2:25 Doncaster - D’BAI (4/1) didn’t get a clear run at Goodwood, and although unplaced he was only beaten a length. His two main rivals here have mostly been running over a mile but this seems to have been the target for the selection as he has had a little break since Lennox Stakes.

2:35 Bath - really poor race, and it is a long shot but I wouldn’t be surprised if AQUADABRA (22/1) runs well at a big price. Only 1 win from 20 but that one win came here last year. Mostly been poor this season, including when beaten 9 lengths over this c&d but has been rapidly dropping down the handicap and is now 10 lbs lower than that c&d run. Hinted at returning to some sort of form when 3rd of 6 at 40/1 in a better race last time.

3:30 Listowel - LAREENA (8/1) has a good chance of bouncing back to form now she is dropped in class after running in Grade 2 races last twice. This is a similar level to when she was narrowly beaten at Kilbeggan in June.

4:10 Doncaster - THE TRADER (4/1) was a bit disappointing last time, but had won impressively twice before and maybe worth another chance now dropped in class.

5:10 Chelmsford - TRUE NORTH (4/1) has been running ok in slightly better races than this and should have a good chance stepping up in distance on a track where he has won before.
