BEST of the BETS

OPERATIVE (9/2) is 3 lbs lower than his last win which came in a similar handicap over this c&d almost a year ago. Hasn’t shown much this season, including when dropped to a seller couple of starts ago, but has mostly raced over 6/7 furlongs, hope is that drop back to minimum distance will bring him back to form (record over 5f is 22110, the 0 was on seasonal return).
