    I've just been reading that the Tote has made a change to place term rules for pool betting at Royal Ascot...
    "Please be aware that due to the inclusion of world pool bettors(Hong Kong etc), The Tote have altered the place terms for bets during Royal Ascot.
    Perhaps the main difference is that a 4th place finish in a 16+ runner handicap will mean you are out of the placepot. Likewise don't throw your ticket away if you are 3rd in a 7 runner race you would still be in."

    shame i thought i had it up for 160 today with a few 4ths :wink:
    but only 40p paid 240 for a quid
