    Cracking jockey, great man. i met him a few times and he was a real gent. Also a brilliant race reader and walking form book. Followed the greatest jocker ever...Mick "thou shall not pass" Kinane as atable jock and carried on his great work.

    But hes survived cancer and he rightly is going to concentrate on his family and own life.

    Pat will be sorely missed

    yes he was an outsanding jockey and i doubt you will find anybody say otherwise. and as the saying goes your health is the most important thing in life.and after the battle he has had . he would tell you just that. he will be missed.
