Lots of runners but not many with a realistic chance. I’ll take the favourite on, a 9yo who has won his last two but goes up slightly in class and up in the weights, may be too much for the old legs.

Mullarkey has really good course form but is due to drop 2lb and has been done no favours with the draw, his day may be in another run or two, trainer hasn’t had a winner for 142 days

I’ll go for Seek The Moon, 4 runs this year, beaten only by class 5 horses, not much threat of a class 5 runner in this, apart from Mullarkey, so this is her easiest test of the year. Decent draw and top jockey on board. Negative that the trainer is another struggling for winners, nothing for 60 days, and she tends to be held up, not ideal here. So I’m hoping for a change of tactics, from the good draw. I’ll play ew in case they do hold her up and she doesn’t get there.

Each Way Bet - Seek The Moon, 4-1, Paddy
