Looks a tricky handicap full of unreliable types. I’m going to give ‘It’s Not Unusual’ a go. Cost 175,000 Guineas so obviously disappointing, but, went better than finishing position suggests last time, ran into trouble. 3 all weather runs but always beaten by class 5 or better types, this represents her easiest task on the aw, blinkers on and 7lb claimer. Conditionals jockeys ok on this wider track, always prefer the pros on the tighter tracks but the claimers can be value here. Blinkers on first time another source of hope.
If Tom Jones can ride at 8 stone 13 pounds then he must have given up eating the green, green grass of home.
Fieldsman for me but not with great confidence.
A man went to the doctor with a strange complaint.
"Well it's like this Doc, when I drive to work in the morning through the country lanes I start to sing 'The green green grass of home'. If I see a cat then it's 'What's new, pussy cat?'. It's so embarrassing, even when I'm asleep and dreaming, I still keep singing. Last night, it was 'Delilah', and my wife was not amused!"
"Yes, it would appear that you have the early symptoms of Tom Jones syndrome."
"Well I've never heard of that, is it common?" asked the man.
