Right folks, let me try and help you take a few quid off the bookies with a good St Leger Saturday.

Doncaster is always a cracking place to spend a day at the races, but St Leger Day is something else. The place is usually buzzing, the atmosphere builds throughout the afternoon, and there’s always that extra bit of anticipation and excitement with the big race still to come.

So, with that in mind, I’ve had a proper look through the card and I’ll be putting up a few selections that I think offer decent value rather than just siding with the obvious favourites.

Hopefully we can find a few winners and make it a profitable afternoon.

2.55 - WISE APPROACH - ODDS 11/1 The interesting outsider.
4.15 - EBT'S GUARD - ODDS 16/1 Capable from this mark. 16/1 is big enough to interest me
4.48 - TAWAJJAH - OODS 9/2 - Probably the strongest win selection

I would prefer to swerve the St Leger but if I was asked for a selection, I'd go for 3.35 ENCELADUS 9/4
