Boys On Tour at 13/2 was another good-priced winner for these in the evening. Carntop also won at 4/11 in addition to the winners listed earlier.
S.Team was a n/r in the 8.0, so a total of 19 points laid out for the evening. 36.66 pts returned, profit 17.66 pts. Take away 2.34 pts lost on afternoon, total is + 15.32. And this was at SP! Bigger profit at BSP and earlies.
Profit would have been bigger, because first winner on Galway's card, at 5/1, was a sole selection in that race, but I wasn't able to put it up in time.
Well spotted. Didn't think it would take long for someone to see the style similarities. Yes. I am totally bored with DD, do now I'm Bodger. An old nickname and probably an apt one.
Loadsa cards, loadsa horses on them today. I've made the minimum price 11/4 BOG, but still a tsunami of selections, and that's just the afternoon meetings.
Not going very well this afternoon, just 1 winner, priced 9/2 earlies, but an agonidingly close 3rd at 16/1 another at 4/1 and a second at 12/1. Still 6 races to go.
This evening (none at Leicester qualify):
G'way 5.10 Getareason 10/3
" 5.40 H.L.Boy 6/1
S'dn 5.45 C.trail 6/1
G'way 6.10 Timetoget 6/1
S'dn 6.20 Li Kui 4/1
G'way 7.20 Sarurnas 18/1
S'dn 7.30 C.Jones 8/1
G'way 8.0 El greco 4/1
" 8.30 S.A. Star 13/2
S'dn 8.35 Elysees 11/4.
It might be best just to do those 10/1 and over e/w. We'll see.
All I got from this evening's 10 was Getareason 2nd 9/2 and Timetoget 4th 9/1.
10 pts lost there, and 22.5 lost on day.
Loss after 2 days: 7.18 pts.
Time for a rethink.
Over the 2 fays, those 10/1 and over at time of posting are: L, W 11/1, L, 2nd 12/1, L, L.
I might concentrate on those. On the other hand those 3/1 and under might be worth looking at again. The ones in the middle seem to be the worst performing.
Sadly, On A May Day went wrong in my last race, just when it was coming to deliver a strong challenge to the eventual winner. Looked to me like O.A.M.Day's hoof had got caught in a hole or hit a dip in the ground.Terrible to see, especially when at full pelt like that, going downhill.
