Paddy Power Handicap Hurdle (GBB Race) Cl2 (4yo+) 3m
PLEASE POST YOUR SELECTION BELOW
1. HORSE SELECTION
Select ONE horse from the Cheltenham 3.05
A player can choose the favourite by simply posting FAVOURITE (if JF's the horse with the lowest racecard number will be the selection).
2. NAP SELECTIONS
A player can NAP a maximum of 3 selections in the 10 FEATURED RACES.
Please post NAP alongside the selection in the OFFICIAL RACE THREAD.
3. CHANGING SELECTIONS & EDITING POSTS
A player CAN edit entries to change selections, replace NON RUNNERS or to add a NAP.
Please note that if the edit time is after the entry deadline the post is void and the player will score 0 points for the race.
4. POSTS WITH NON-RUNNERS
If an entry contains a NR, it will be replaced with the FAVOURITE, or if JF's the horse with the lowest racecard number. If a NAP becomes a non-runner, then the alternative selection becomes the NAP.
5. ENTRY DEADLINE

NAP selections score double points eg. a 10/1 winning NAP scores (100+30)x2 = 260
7. ABANDONMENT
If any race is abandoned and not re-scheduled, no alternative race will be added. The competition will be declared void if more than 4 races are abandoned and all entry fees refunded
8. COMPETITION WINNER
At the end of the competition the player with the most points WINS !
9. TIE BREAKER
If one or more players are tied for a prize winning position, the following criteria are applied in order:
(a) most winning NAP's
(b) most winners
(c) highest score on the final race
(d) player posting first on the final race
If there is a tie for a bonus prize the player finishing highest on the leaderboard wins.
Well done to Mugz on winning the NH ChristmasCracker TTC. :starstruck: Congratulations to Jack Trotter and calvert who finished joint 2nd in a desperately tight finish and well done to horses4courses who picked up the highest SP Winner prize on the final dramatic race.
Thanks also Mugz for both organising and scoring the comp, made the Christmas racing cards a little bit more interesting. Were not betting heats for me but kept my interest levels in and I did invest in Bravemansgame in the King George and did alright there.
I think the comp really works over the Xmas period and with ITV reporting good viewing figs for their festival of racing I think we could run it again next year perhaps with a few more races. There are quite a few good ones just before Xmas and with the Long Walk going back to Ascot we could include a couple from that weekend to make it a 2 week comp.
