5/1 SP in first race (also last race - debut), did not finish first second or third and 13/8 F today. John Gosden trained dual Group 1 winner Sire Nathaniel (12f) and was ridden with patience and briefly looked like getting involved down the outside in the straight, but she just couldn't pick up well enough. She's entitled to come on for her debut. Horse was overmatched or in for conditioning in that race, fits in better in today's race.

Trainer Mick & David Easterby found 11-2 winner Copper Mountain at Wetherby yesterday and WHITWELL can keep the ball rolling. Stable Record in turf handicaps in April for a profit of £103.25 to a £1 level stake at SP.

6th of 12 btn 3¼ Led narrowly, ridden and headed from over 1f out, weakened inside final furlong and tonight’s return to a quicker surface is very much in his favour.
Conclusion: He’ll strip fully fit now and prove hard to catch this time on a track which favours front-running tactics.

05Apr22 - 4th of 10 btn 2½L at Pontefract 8f race -- went fourth inside final furlong -- offered some encouragement on his second start for this trainer.
Conclusion: 8 furlong was a trip that stretches his stamina. He’s back over an easy 7f tonight and should be finishing to good effect.
