When I did bet...
Betting in bumper races.
Betting odds on shots, except in a double or treble bets.
Betting in races where they are all newcomers.
Betting anything over 1m in flat races and anything over 2m 4f races on the jumps apart from the Grand National for traditional purposes.
How about you anything you avoid or anything you like to specialise in?
I don’t have many rules but never bet in sellers and claimers. Absolute graveyards for betting purposes without info and even with info should be approached with caution.
After doing my money on Moonlighting tonight at Southwell I’m going to add backing runners without solid course form there to the list! I think it used to be on there but something went amiss before tonight’s bet!!!
It is annoying when you bet one and they do not run any sort of race, but it happens. From what I can see you have given the board some nice winners so just think of this as a small blip I am sure you will soon be soon back in the winners enclosure now of that I have no doubt !
i dont generally bet in these but would not say never to any
2 year old races
3 year old races
handicaps with loads of 3yolds in them
chases with loads of runners
chases in general
big saturday handicaps other than for fun multis
group races
big meeting races cheltenaham goodwood ascot other than fun multi
There isn’t any type of race I would exclude, process has to be different but I believe an angle can be found in every type of race. Maybe I should specialise though as I tend to do better in certain types of races, 2yos, 3yos, maidens, novices, races with unexposed horses etc where a major part of my selection process is looking at pedigrees. I don’t do so well in handicaps full of exposed horses.
Still waiting for your running totals DFM!!??
How long does it take? The letter 'L' fell off your keyboard or something?? Come on lad, do the right thing.....and what you and Mugz agreed....Post Them!!! Easy....modesty then sorted!
I am giving you a free trial starting Thursday for two weeks. Once I make a profit you can stop all this nonsense. As far as your horse is concerned I helped other trainers in the placement of horses before. I am giving advice on what race I would place your particular horse in surely coming first is better than being second. Dixon is not placing it in the correct race. He is not analysing the form book to its maximum capacity.
What do u mean by restrictedish lol. Ham shanks are highly recommended when you are out having a picnic. Something we will all be able to do again once the virus hits low levels.
