DECK THE HALLS WITH PLENTY OF RUNNERS!
December is here, and we are hoping the last month of 2021 will provide our owners with an early Christmas treat as we gear up for another busy month!
Our wonder mare RUBY YEATS is excitingly preparing for the fillies only race at Saturday's Tingle Creek meeting (read more about her chances below.) Also trained by Gary Moore, LEGAL RIGHTS will make his handicap debut over hurdles at Fontwell Park on 7/12 off what we feel is a winnable mark whilst WAIKIKI WAVES is another preparing to run & he has plenty of options over hurdles and fences being considered (full list below.)
2-time hurdle winner CILAOS GLACE shaped with promise on his seasonal debut at Fontwell Park in November. He travelled strongly under James Bowen and really laid down a challenge up the home straight to finish 2nd. He's been in great form since and is likely to head to either Fontwell Park or Uttoxeter both on 7/12.
Stablemate WALK IN THE WILD didn't sparkle as expected on his seasonal return but we draw a line through it and move forward with the horse in fantastic order at home. He steps up in trip at Exeter this Friday in the 1.30pm handicap hurdle.
Last but not least, there is a tentative option for 4yo newcomer RIOHACHA at Ascot on 17/12 in a NHF. He is a big, backward baby who needs soft ground but if we remain patient fingers crossed his debut is not far away now.
RUBY YEATS' FIRST BIG TARGET
After running with such credit during her seasonal debut at Fontwell Park on ground perhaps not ideal, RUBY YEATS has been in fine fettle at the Gary Moore's yard as she gears up for her first big target.
On Saturday RUBY YEATS' will head to Sandown Park for the Class 3 fillies only race. She competed in this race in 2020 and ran creditably behind some very smart horses to finish 5th place.
It is a shame her usual pilot Josh Moore will not be on board, but Jamie Moore is likely to ride & we are very much looking forward to an afternoon at Sandown!
One thing we are praying for however is rain as the wetter the better for RUBY YEATS who relishes the mud! This race will be the mare's first big target of the season as we hope to add some more desirable elements to her pedigree as she moves into a new sphere of becoming our broodmare in our breeding syndicate in 2022 - more info on this to follow!
