BEST of the BETS

Looks a difficult day today, not confident about any but picked these 4 that could run well, one of them is a non runner now, so backed as a small each way patent. Good luck.

2:00 Hamilton - FOOTSTEPSINTIME (4/1), 12th of 19 at Naas last time, but only beaten 4 lengths, this looks slightly easier and he is 3 lbs lower in handicap, trainer is 4 from 10 (+4 LSP) with horse’s priced under 5/1 in UK, 3 from 4 when favourite. Market will be a good guide to his chances.

4:45 Navan - CONSHARON BOY (NON RUNNER) unseated rider last time, but has been running consistently well before that this season including a win over 3m1f. Drop in distance is unlikely to be a problem, and a positive jockey booking in Paul Townend who has ridden 10 winners from 30 rides in last fortnight.

4:50 Uttoxeter - favourite has a good chance, but looking for value each way option I think JAMACHO (10/1) could run well, bit disappointing last twice but had gone close off this market Worcester before that. Charlie Longsdon has a good record at Uttoxeter, and is 8-21-40 (w-p-r) here over last 2 years, hopefully this one can get a place at least.

5:00 plumpton - SPOILT ROTTEN (13/2) is 0-14 but is low enough in the handicap and this doesn’t look a strong race, so has place chances.
