    I backed Njord 3 weeks ago to win the Balmoral Handicap at Ascot . It was a class 2 race , worth £62,000 and Njord duly obliged.
    Today, I fancy one that was beat 7 lengths by Njord BUT......was badly drawn.........

    This horse has ran in several big handicaps over the years and ran well enough last time out , from a bad draw, to suggest he will go well today.
    Ben Curtis retains the ride and he appears to be on a good mark.
    The going is fine as he won the £112,000 Bet365 Challenge Cup last year at Ascot on soft ground.
    Also, the ground for the Balmoral was soft as well and if he had been drawn lower, I'm sure would have been in the mix.
    I backed the horse @ 8's but has now gone 7's with Bet365.
