BEST of the BETS

Had a small each way on INTERNAL TRANSFER in this. He was sent off 4/1 favourite for this race last year (heavy going) but pulled up. Had a perfect course record of 3 from 3 before that. Trainer Eric McNamara won the race back in 1999 with Kaselectric, he has had 14 runners in thus since then, with 5 of them placing and another 3 finishing 5th. So with 5 places on offer with some bookies today, I think it has a good chance of placing. Only a small bet as age trends are against him with only one 9 year old winning in last 20 years (14 of the last 20 won by 7 & 8 year olds).

I backed it at 12/1, but best priced 9/1 now.
