Unraced Clive Cox filly catches the eye here. Bred by the trainer's wife & interesting, rather than send to the sales the filly is put into training with Clive & also runs in his own colours. The trainer & jockey know the family well, they trained the dam, silken skies, who won on soft ground as well.

Looks a hot race, but it wouldn't surprise me if the trainer had this filly revved up to go, with the big owners ready with cheque books to snap her up.

The James Ferguson trained Frankel colt catches the eye here. It now transpires that Kieran Fallon snr has been doing all the homework & teaching, he told the trainer he would win FTO and he duly did at Salisbury. Looked very green & Hector Crouch only got him going forward in the last 200 yards, to win by a cosy head.

They finished in a bunch & the form is nothing special. Interesting that they go up in grade and Osin Murphy has asked for the ride. Cost plenty at 200k and this could be the stable star a young trainer needs. Plenty of Frankel stock handle soft ground, but it's a big ask for juveniles, so caution advised.
