Looks a day for speed horses at Newmarket. horses held up off the pace or to get the trip not getting a blow in. Oxted a 6f specialist wins The Abernant in good style under Fallon jnr. Emaraaty Ana tried to make all but faded out of it after halfway.

Anyone missing the crowds on the TV racing? I must admit I only notice it between races.

I'd like to think when the crowds are allowed to return safely they might reduce the prices of entry as they are way too much . Only cost me 10 euros to go in at the arc de triomphe :gasp:

I think all tracks should have a basic admission price of £10 which allows you to watch the racing, access to the paddock and bookmakers. That keeps the prices down so a family could go for a day out for £20-30 which is cheap. If you want to pay a bit more for a bit of luxury or better viewing then I have no problem with premium prices as there are plenty of people who are willing to pay for a bit of exclusivity.
