    True, Mugz but if you have big priced fancies in a maiden for instance the Trifecta is the only bet you can place.

    Sometimes the Trifecta beats the Tricast in handicaps like the 5.05 Wolv (9 runner h'cap)

    True, you just need to have an idea of what the pool size is and how many likely winners there will be for your selection. In the 7.40 there was no way that the trifecta was going to beat the tricast at those prices.
