    How about introducing a POWER PLAY for 2020? This would allow a player to PP one TTC in the month. Any points scored ie 40-20-10 would be doubled if you use your PP on that TTC.

    Also, we could introduce 10pts for 4th place on Saturdays only.

    Any thoughts or other suggestions welcome.

    I like the current rules but I am not opposed to the suggested changes.

    I always thought 5 points for 4th place on handicap races with 16+ runners would
    be a good idea but not just for Saturdays. Brings the points system more in
    line with betting rules.

    Under Power Play could someone power play on a Saturday and get 4 times the points?

    Yes, a Saturday win would give you 160pts, but Saturday cards are tougher. It would mean that the finish of the month is more exciting if people leave their PP to the end.
