BEST of the BETS

Good looking Listed Hurdle race for novices. Pacify has been impressive in winning 4 out of 4 and is now upped in class, Longhouse Sale had been unbeaten before well beaten in Listed handicap last time. Both have good chances but I have backed BIRDS OF PREY (11/2), finished out of first 2 only once from 6 starts over hurdles, that was in big handicap for novices at Sandown in April, finishing 6th, the race won by his stablemate Getaway Trump. That looks strong form as 5 of the first 6 had won on their previous run and 4th & 5th have won since then. Nicholls has won this race 4 times from just 10 runners, admittedly all the winners were higher rated, lowest one being 131, Birds of Prey is only rated 129 and 11 lbs inferior to top 2 in betting so he does need to improve. This is also his first run of season, so only a small bet but I feel he can run well today.
