Small bet on the outsider of four DADSINTROUBLE (4/1) in this tricky handicap. Selection is returning from a long absence having been well beaten at Cheltenham and Punchestown festivals in 2018 on his last two starts, but his 3rd in Grade 3 handicap at Aintree festival 2 years ago is good form, down to a mark of 127 he looks well handicapped. Absence of 500+ days is obviously a concern, but Tim Vaughan stable is in good form with 3 winners from 6 runners this week (2 of the beaten horses were priced 25/1+), and if he is close to fully fit then he could win this. Richard Johnson has finished 1st or 2nd on 5 of the last 6 rides he has had for Vaughan. Bally Longford also has the class but he hasn’t won over hurdles since 2013.
