KNOWING 3:25 Yarmouth @ 10/3
I'm hoping that this one is going to run a big race tomorrow. If it is going to, then could be a lot shorter than 100/30 by the off.
I'm basing this on the form of his penultimate run on the 10th May at Nottingham. The race was a C5 Handicap over 1m2f (as today) on soft ground. KNOWING finished 3rd that day, 3 1/4 lengths behind winner Jackamundo.
The 4th horse was over 2 lengths behind the selection, with everything else at least 6 lengths down.
The formlines from the race are pretty impressive, with 5 of the horses behind KNOWING having won races since.
Full breakdown of that result (with OR on the day in brackets) and subsequent form as follows.....
1st - Jackamundo (OR 70) - Followed up with another WIN (off 75), and was well backed 9/4 Fav in C3 event at Ayr yesterday off 81
2nd - Group Stage (OR 68) - 2nd (off 71) next race
3rd - KNOWING (OR 72) - 2nd (again off 72) since. GOES OFF 72 again today
4th - Thinque Tank (OR 66) - one poor run since
5th - El Picador (OR 72) - WON (off 70) & 2nd (off 76) since
6th - Patchouli (OR 75) - WON (off 71) since
7th - Silkstone (OR 72) - 2nd (off 71), WON (off 74) & 2nd (off 78) since
8th - Ardimento (OR 67) - one poor run since & N/R due to inflammation
9th - Amorously (OR 69) - WON (off 67) since
10th - Showshutai (OR 56) 100/1 shot - One poor run since
11th - Fly Lightly (OR 75) - 2 runs since 4/13 & 6/8
12th - Dark Miracle (OR 74) - WON (off 74) since
13th - Whenapoet (OR 64) - one poor run since
That all leads me to believe that there has to be a win in this horse soon, and retaining the same handicap mark on firmer ground in a similar event today, surely must have every chance?
Remember to tread wth caution as it is me posting!!!
Good luck, mate. Great bit of research, deserves to win just for the amount of work you have put in. Form looks pretty good, good chance as long as he can repeat it on good to firm going, but earlier form here on g/f isn’t bad either - beaten 10 lengths but that was behind King Of Comedy who has gone on to finish 2nd in St James’s Palace.
