19 runner handicap races are certainly ones I steer clear of. This one was brought to my attention by a mate, pointing out it being jockey T Ladd only ride. That itself didn't mean too much as he generally has few rides a day, quite often only 1. However his SR at Thirsk is an impressive 46%. Higher than at any other course. The horse has run twice over the CD, last time finishing 2 lengths 4th in C4 on soft. Time before was C5 2nd on GF headed on line. Both runs off same mark today. Trainer has a modest 13% SR at Thirsk but interestingly his highest ever profit to a £1 stake is at Thirsk. That could just be coincidence or he likes a big price winner here?

Probably reaching a bit with this selection but there's enough for me to have a small EW play.
