I have a strong hunch for Felix Mendelssohn in this race tomorrow. Not so long ago this horse finished 3rd i(btn 1 length) in a novice hurdle at Bellewstown to none other than Low Sun. This horse the went onto win a valuable hurdle race at the Galway festival and then the Cesarewitch in 2018 and is now rated 141 over hurdles. Good form or what?
Felix M formerly with JP O'Brien and now with S Coltherd has had a quiet introduction to racing here and from an opening handicap mark of 112 has slid down the weights to 100. In its last 3 races it has been held up but if it races prominently tomorrow (which is needed at Musselburgh)it should be more competitive.
12/1 seems more than generous given the opposition.
