DIRCHILL has been backed from 33/1 into 12/1, I realise he has been tipped by Hugh Taylor so that is probably a factor in price cut but the move looks significant as trainers runners often do well when strong in betting. Compare this to selections last run over this c&d, when he drifted from 10/1 out to 50/1 and finished 8th. That was also his first run for the trainer and first on all weather, next time he was again weak in betting drifting from 14/1 to 33/1, again unplaced. His half brother is twice a winner on all weather, and I think he is worth another try on this surface as he looks reasonably weighted on turf form.
