BEST of the BETS

I have backed LISDOONVARNA LAD (6/1) in this. He has a similar profile to Longsdon’s 2014 winner Shantou Magic (9/2), who came into the race on 135 rating having had just 7 runs and 2nd start over fences, and was stepping up in trip Lisdoonvarna Lad has a lower rating of 129, but has had only 6 runs including one over fences, finished last of 4 on that run but had no chance against the 150+ rated winner Kalashnikov. Steps up in trip but I don’t think that will be a problem.
