    Gutted to have missed the early 3/1 on DONNACHIES GIRL in the 1:55 At Newcastle.
    The support into 9/4 is re-assuring in terms of the selection however.

    Drops into Class 6 company, for the first time in 19 runs (since July last year).
    Whilans seems to be taking advantage of a 3lb drop in ratings since a 2nd place over C&D last month, to get her into this 0-65 off top weight.
    Today’s mark of 65 is the 5 year old mare’s lowest rating since that C6 event mentioned above.

    DONNACHIES GIRL’S 4 runs over CD have returned finishes of 1-2-5-2, all recorded off higher marks and in higher grades.

    The more than capable Jason Hart takes the ride today, and is an attractive booking in my opinion.

    I’m hoping this one’s class shines through.

    Another to consider ew is Nearly there 12/1 who has a much better draw and proper jock on today
    than lto when was slow away from high stall
