Could be worth an e/w dabble in the Newmarket opener.
James Tate stable, who can tend to be streaky, have been firing in winners lately.
First time Blinkers applied.
Latest run at Ayr was disappointing, BUT was over 6 furlongs on heavy ground and was eased up.
Run before that, in Chantilly, also not the best.
However, prior to that she had won 3 of her previous 4 races, including a listed contest at Vichy in July.
That day, she beat SHUMOOKHI by just under a length. In Shumookhi's next race she in turn beat HEARTWARMING by 3 lengths, and HEARTWARMING (unraced since) is an 8/1 shot in today's race.
Stable form is what made me initially look at this one, and the first time blinkers are interesting too. Does anybody know how Tate's horses do with first time headgear?
