    Backed GALVIN ew @ 50/1 (6 places)

    A horse with plenty of class, 4th in the Cheltenham Gold Cup 2 years ago at 10/3, and was 22/1 for this last year carrying 9lb more (fell at 1st). I think you can ignore all recent form as he was aimed at the Cross Country at the Festival which was abandoned, and the trainer knows how to win this race. The stable jockey has chosen Delta Work over him, but on price alone I have to go with Galvin.

    Had the winner, but no great payday for me.
    Missed a 305/1 forecast on the tote - needed Minella Indo to run second.
