    Le Rouge Chinois, a winner in Sweden, ran well on his British debut at Newcastle over 10f, finishing 3/12 (22/1). That looked a slightly more competitive race than this. Raised 1 lbs for finishing 3rd, and upped in grade to class 4 and over 14f next time, he was a bit disappointing to finish only 4 of 5.

    Back down in class 5 now and dropped to his mark of 70 that he ran off on 2nd last run, he could run well as he has also been dropped to 12f. His dam Le Petite Chinoise got her only win over a mile and half (on turf) from OR 70, and she was related to other 12f winners including Buccellati (winner up to Group 3 level), so I am hopeful that this distance will suit.

    Le Rouge Chinois (10/1 SP) had every chance, not quite good enough to win but not beaten far in 3rd place, small profit of half a point at BOG.
