1:30 Haydock - AIR FORCE AMY (7/1) was only 2 lengths behind 93-rated Model Guest when unfancied 3rd of 5. 2nd behind a clear winner next time, has good place claims again.

1:35 Navan - ERICH BLOCH (6/4) has finished 2nd last twice but came up against well fancied favourites both times, has a good chance of losing his maiden tag today.

Royal Lodge Stakes (1:50 Newmarket) - this race is usually won by a lightly raced improver, 17 of last 20 winners had raced no more than 3 times before the race. ARTHUR KITT (5/2) had won the Chesham at Royal Ascot before losing his unbeaten record in Solario Stakes with a 4 length 2nd, that defeat came against a special horse Too Darn Hot though.

7:15 Chelmsford - not only is AFRICAN RIDE (13/8) the highest rated horse in the race, he also escapes the 4 lbs penalty most of his rivals have to carry as he won his last race in France. Simon Crisford is 3 from 6 (+2 LSP) with his favourites in last 2 years at Chelmsford, it will be disappointing if this one doesn’t win.
