Masala Chai's (20/1 SP) run wasn't without promise, she seemed to be travelling very well when briefly hitting the front, but faded badly late on to drop to 7th. Brionywells was always towards the back. Money was right for the favourite, winning like a nice horse.

Unlucky Ribot, but well done on place double.

Good luck Ribot. I liked Weloof, but having missed the early price I decided to leave it alone, hope he wins for you though.

I can never get Mullins right, his other one Asian Master wins after getting backed at the last minute. It had been on my shortlist but after it had drifted to 18/1 earlier, I didn't think it was going to be today. Been a very poor week for me.

Thanks Doubler. Yes, Handstands won very well, admittedly apart from the first two there wasn't a lot of quality in the race but they were beaten a long way.

Had the first three but unfortunately in wrong order, Parade Away beaten by Handstands, I would have been better off backing Spice Boy for a place who finished 3rd @ 40/1. So frustrating when you read the race well, but make the wrong decision to still end up losing.

Solid Silver (11/1 SP) gave it a good go from the front, the winner Avakate had the race won from some way out though. Selection eventually finished 3rd for just a small profit of 0.6 pt at best odds.

Market did play a big part in the result but not the way I had hoped. Kemerton drifted to more than double his early price, and although not beaten far he could finish only 4th. Massive gamble on the winner from 14/1 to 15/8.
