2:10 Cork - favourite Anjalawi ran well on debut and has a chance but price is quite short given it’s a competitive looking maiden. Dame Dandy has made the frame all 3 starts so far, and I have backed her to finish in first 3 at 1.92 on exchange. Thought about backing for win but there are a few dangers including the Joseph O’Brien newcomer.

3rd, so money back, but had seriously thought about backing place only on exchange at 2.10, bad choice of bet.

Handicaps now, so have to be bit more cautious, taken Equidae each way at 9/2, Jardine’s runner in first race ran on well and this one has a good chance too. Look out for 3yo Cindy Lopper, Amy Murphy is having a good day and her runner Blessed To Impress isn’t out of this, I see those two as main dangers.

This one a bit more trickier, Party Spirit has a good chance if you can forgive her last run, but small bet on Urban War (5/4) who may just improve enough 2nd time out.

Just to add about the distance, although officially it says 2 and half miles, there are 246 yards added due to rails adjustment, that’s more than a furlong extra.

Thanks mate, hope you are right. Just experimenting a bit today by betting closer to race time, will see how it goes.

Thanks. It started well with 7/2 winner but went downhill from there, but advantage of doing each way was that I still got 70% of my stake back with 2 others placing at 4/1 & 7/2.
  • LUCKY LONGSHOTS
    Nice winner.

Really impressed with Megallan, he was sweating heavily before the race which probably caused the drift, and very keen early but has won readily in the end. Remember, Gosden won this race with Roaring Lion 3 years ago, could this turn out to be another Group horse?
  • 1.15 Pontefract
    Well done TL.
  • 2:00 Curragh
Found the fav too good, so made a small loss, maybe w/o the favourite or place only would have been better option. Moon In Her Eye ran well enough for 4th, and the other horse highlighted to run better than her price, Blue Cabochon did just that to finish 3rd. Could have easily made a profit from the race if I bet differently, but wasn’t to be.

Grrr picked the wrong one of two, was always worried after jockey/trainer won the first race, but at least I had a saver on the winner so small profit.

That was poor, not even one winner, but doing it each way meant that I still got back about 65% of my stake back with 3 of them placing.
