    Well done Mole, nicely gambled.

    Thanks Malcolm.

Secret Daay (50/1 SP) finished only 9th. No excuses for him as the first 4 were all drawn middle to high. He did turn it around with Hot Scoop but that's no consolation, step up from a classified stakes to a 0-65 proved harder than I envisaged.

Unlucky, Dulcet Spirit gets beaten after trading 1.03 in running, got outstayed by the favourite in end but well clear of the rest. It's another loss, but can't complain about this one as she ran a good race.

No respite from the losing run. Jet Of Magic went off favourite and seemed to be going well trading 1.63 in running but found nothing, ending up last of 3 finishers.

Last race also looked much more competitive than this, and form has worked out well. From 7 horses from that race to have run since then, 2 won and 3 placed next time. Mudskipper (8th) was 1 3/4 lengths ahead of my selection, he has also been dropped 2 lbs so is dangerous to ignore but I feel over this distance Natzor could turn it around.

Picked the correct formline to investigate, but unfortunately came to wrong conclusion and picked the wrong horse. Mudskipper wins easily, Natzor near last.

No bet today. Tbh I feel no confidence in my judgement at present going through this losing run, I am just ending up making wrong decisions in choosing what to back so maybe best to leave it alone for couple of days. If I did have a bet today, it would have been Carlo Du Berlais in 5:15 Worcester who seems progressive but I also couldn't rule out Favori De Sivola if improving on 2nd run for David Pipe.
  • Ballinrobe 4:30
    Thanks Malcolm.

On The Tide backed from 7/1 to 4/1 but it was a poor run as he finished only 7th, the favourite highlighted as the main danger wins.
  • Curragh 5:40
    Thanks Malcolm.

Very poor today, I read the market wrong too, Cigamia had ended up a silly place price even before two late withdrawals. Bad decision from me to back it.
