There are so few entries across all the cards on Sat, races with double fig entries rare. Not sure if the weather is a factor but the really hot temps are not coming until next week. In my opinion we shouldn't be racing at all if we get the forecast 35C.

For regular racegoers prices are too high because very few go racing and only pay for entry without having a bet or a meal or a few drinks. When you factor in the extras it is the most expensive day out in British sport. I think midweek afternoon entry should be capped at £10-£15, evenings at £15-20 and weekends at £20-£25, with exceptions for the biggest days eg, Derby, Royal Ascot, Cheltenham Festival.

I think if selections were posted by 11am on Sat I think it gives a good balance between giving the tipsters time for some form study on the day and for people to get bets on. I am flexible on this if you want to change it.
