Nicholls wins the 2nd, a good sign.

Backed THREEUNDERTHRUFIVE @ 11/1. Not the best of jumpers but manages to stay upright and has a lot of pace. You needed to be on the pace at Newbury yesterday on the good ground and this horse should be bang there all the way. His best race so far was at Doncaster which is a similar track profile and he looks the type to win a big 3m+ chase.

I do respect Denmark, but they were poor v Tunisia who are currently losing to Australia. I feel Denmark would take a draw now and then look to beat Australia to qualify, but I think France will be the more positive team and if they get in front will be too good.

The Poland, France, Argentina acca is paying about 4/1 today and is a fair bet. Argentina simply have to win, Poland really need to win and although France dont have to win they should be good enough to beat a Denmark team who were very disappointing in their opening game.

USA v Iran is going to be some game with qualification likely to go down to the last kick.

We will probably do the full Cheltenham card.

Brazil backers will be pretty happy with that. A bit chaotic at times but completely dominated a very solid team.

Im thinking that we could do 2 races a day from 26-29 Dec to make an 8 race comp or maybe bump it up to 10 once I have seen the cards. That could be a fun way to fill Christmas week.

Right now I cant see past Brazil and if you are on at 4/1 its looking good value. Of course in knockout football anything can happen and they have Spain in their half if they win the group.
