Backing the fav #3 FINE SPIRIT @ 4/6 to finish 1-2-3. Won as fav lto, and a repeat should go very close.

No good, no show from either of mine. Fav might have got 3rd after trying to make all !

Its amazing how the Aussies are fearless when it comes to backing horses from wide draws. This fav is 5/2 and is drawn widest of 14.

I like Bakers runner #1 SHOCK ALERT and will back it ew @ 4/1. I also like Candices tip a bit, so will back it small for a place at about 2/1.

Backing #4 JOYFUL HEART to finish 1-2-3 @ 6/5. Should be right up with the pace and just a question of whether he can tough it out. I like the fav but 2/1 is a poor price in a field where 5 or 6 can win.

Cut down late on for the win, but a comfortable 2nd. First 3 finish never in doubt.

Backing 4 WEEKEND DREAMER to finish 1-2-3 at about 8/13. Has tons of pace and should be in the first 3 all the way, hopefully.

That was great TV. Well worth watching on catch up.

Never looked like winning but got 3rd.
