That was a bit more like it. Only saw the highlights on MOTD but it looked more like Leeds of last season. Hard to judge on a 5 minute highlights but the stats show we dominated. Great flick by Llorente for the goal. Watford are a bit of a shambles atm as the sacking of the manager that won them promotion last season after just 7 games shows. You can only beat the team in front of you though. Bring on the Saints, also struggling atm.
We had 10pts from 8 games last season so if we were to beat Southampton we would only be 1pt behind that total and the season would be very much back on track.
I always think that the table at the end of October indicates the sort of season clubs can expect. So if you are in the bottom 3 then you will be in a relegation battle all season. Our next 3 fixtures will define our season I feel.
We should be looking for max points away to Saints and Norwich and home to Wolves. Away at Arsenal hard to say, they are unpredictable but on the up, Arteta seems to have finally got them interested in playing again, deff take a point there. Bamford hopefully back for the Saints game, looks unlikely for Ayling or Koch.
