    Mugz,

I always enjoy dropping into the site and contributing.

Appreciate all the work you and others do in running the site and if there is anything we can do to help make it better, please let us know.

I would extend this to any member who has any ideas that could help improve the site.

Like horsesforcourses I hope that the site does continue.

    Pity could not get ten.

  • Off The Tracker
Slow away again but not as bad as last time out.

Trip at 6f too sharp for Tea Garden, needs 7 furlongs and reasonable break out of the stalls.

Could be expensive to follow this horse and now might be the time to draw a line through and watch it win, when it wins.

Yeah two winners today that have dotted up but the ground is very soft so whether that has any bearing on the results, time will tell.

The two shorties that did win could be decent especially the OBrien horse. 23 length winner at Chester.

Crikey not really gone to plan today.

Mammas Girl simply did not stay the mile and I think her future will be either at 7 furlongs or a drop back to 6 furlongs.

Lion of War The jury is out on this horse. It ran poor however I think this could partly be due to ground. Sticky soft thing going on at HQ today and a lottery as to whether some horse might go in it.

I think he is worth stick with on better ground before it is taken off my tracker.

Adayar Anyone could have picked this one out, bit of doubling my money and he no doubt will be Royal Ascot bound now.

Unlucky Ribot was wide out drawn, ran very free and could not get cover. Worth noting for another time.

    Crikey, never even considered it.

Bravemansgame ran a cracker and was unluckily.

Galopin Des Champ huge talent, not sure he had the best of runs with no cover always vulnerable in these type of races.

Great training performance to get the winner there.

7/4 on the machine for Galopin Des Champ for the Gold Cup, I can see that drifting.

Now then there is a turn up.

  • Punchestown gold cup
Bravemansgame won the King George at the end of December by about 13 lengths in soft going and Envoi Allen finished last in that race, granted Envoi Allen has ran better since but a degree of unreliable that horse.

Debatable who he beat that day as for the quality of the field, but beat them he did and well.

I still think barring an unfortunate error this is Galopin Des Champ race to win today.

Pity I cannot get anything north of 4/5 odds otherwise I would get involved.

Is that a free bet "Money Back"?.

  • Punchestown gold cup
It is about value for me when I bet peregrine and this race does not offer any really value either win or place.

I only risk a each way bet if I think there is a good chance that my horse can win and failing this place for some money back.

I cannot see Bravemansgame winning this race and I am a fan of this horse by the way, so it would give me great pleasure in watching him win (heart thing) but again betting is a (head thing) and I think Galopin Des Champ will win this.

Good luck with this, I will swerve a bet unless the bookmakers or exchange offer me 4/5 on Galopin Des Champ which again is unlikely.

I think if Bravemansgame could have ran at Aintree then he would have swerved Punchestown. (Of course this was beyond Nicholls control).

I do not think the distance will trouble any of the field and as for Paul Nicholls he has the horse ready and prepared to race and there will be decent prize money for 2nd & 3rd at Punchestown, has to go somewhere rather than nothing. (The options are limited).

Now the jumping of Galopin Des Champs does have a blot when he fell but generally his jumping is sound and indeed I would go as far to say as good if not better than the field.

As for the odds I do not see the value in Bravemansgame, when I think place money is the best you could hope for.

I think Galopin Des Champs will win and even at 4/11 there is something if you like backing at those odds.

Could Bravemansgame win, yes of course but would take a massive issue with Galopin Des Champs to occur which is unlikely to happen.
