  • Ladbrokes is a joke
Ladcrooks are truly awful. Popped into a Corals the other week ( same company). Asked where the Racing Post was only to be told they no longer provide one! Won't be going there again!

After finishing an encouraging 3rd last time out at Lingfield Park, 3yo POETIC LILLY returned to the turf track here on 7th September and under a fine ride from Josephine Gordon secured her first win! Congratulations to her connections.

Despite being drawn unfavourably low, POETIC LILLY travelled strongly from the word go thanks to a positive ride and looked to enjoy every single second. She might only be a small filly but she really toughed it out in the finish, battling to get her head in front and crossing the line a tad cosily! Watch her success here.

A big thank you to trainer David Menuisier and also to lass Lea who rides Lilly at home most mornings and quite clearly adores her. We were delighted she was there to celebrate the win!

POETIC LILLY and Josephine Gordon will reunite at Southwell this Thursday - fingers crossed she enjoys the surface and can build on her win.
  • Oisin Murphy - Frog stitch up
I'd be amazed if he has partaken in any of the Columbian marching powder - seems just too intelligent and focused on his job - i'd say 1.01 innocent

Good luck AKD - I'm going with Brighton specialist Pour La Victoire - think the going might suit and it hasn't won for a year or so - might be his turn. Also taking a chance on Sheena's in the last - again she sends one a long way and Jock has a good record when riding at Bath Lyrica's Lion (IRE) 6,b g 9-13
  • Off subject but take the time to read this article.
Sorry to hear about your family ills earlier this year Bonzo. However, with the advancements in treatment of late, the chances of recovery for most people are undoubtably higher - fact. It's also possible, as mentioned in article, that the virus has mutated somewhat - perhaps it may even be more virulent, but slightly less harmfull (a dead host isn't much use to a virus). Sweden seems to have coped better than most countries despite at beginning, looking like they'd got it well wrong. It now seems they've got it right with no doubt, a certain amount of herd immunity.
