The horse was keen enough early on, but the impressive thing is the gears he showed when asked to quicken. That race was over in a matter of seconds, and for a horse which is sure to improve for the run and a step up in distance it is easy to see why people are getting excited. Oh, and its trained by John Gosden who has a bit of a reputation with middle distance horses.

A no risk performance from AJ who wins easily on points.

Surely Joshua is going to take Ruiz seriously this time and try to outbox him. Could be cagey early but fireworks from 5 onwards.

The less said about todays punting the better.
